Slimdor Raises Thousands for Make-A-Wish Canada and Local School Programs
The 2025 Slimdor Last Minute Invitational & Charity Golf Tournament returned this August, bringing together industry partners, clients, and friends for another incredible day of golf — and giving back.
Thanks to the generosity of our players, sponsors, volunteers, and trade partners, we had the opportunity to donate $30,000 to Make-A-Wish® Canada and $10,000 to the Manachaban Schools Breakfast Program in Cochrane.
On September 23, our team proudly presented the cheque to Make-A-Wish Canada at our Cochrane office.
Highlights from the Tournament
From early tee-offs to the final putt, the day was filled with energy, laughter, and a few unforgettable moments:
$10,000 Hole-In-One: Tanner Bordian from Hammer aced Hole #17 on his first swing of the day!
Big-Hearted 50/50 Winner: Steve Thomas from Wajax won $4,070 and donated it all back to charity.
Tournament Champions: Congratulations to Jimmy Borhot, Kyle Kutzak, and Matt Stibbard, who finished 14 under par.
